Who Is Our Management Board?

Our board is responsible for the management of Cloudical. This includes strategic management, resource allocation, finance and reporting, risk management and governance. When it comes to leadership, management stands for perspectives, visions, development, identification and attitude, appreciation, inspiration and motivation.

At the same time, all members of the Cloudicals Management Board are involved in the day-to-day business with our customers and partners.

Karsten Samaschke

CEO, CTO, founder

Karsten Samaschke is CEO, CT and a founder of Cloudical. He lives the Cloud-Native dream, works on establishment and implementation of DevOps processes. Karsten supports and advises his clients with regard to public, private and hybrid cloud scenarios and helps them gaining all advantages of IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service), PaaS (Platform as a Service) or SaaS (Software as a Service) approaches.

Maria Bauer

COO and Coach

Maria Bauer is COO at Cloudical and a Coach. After joining the company, she started to build up the areas Training, Coaching and Counselling at Cloudical. Due to her broad experience and to support the overall growth of our company, Maria joined the management team as COO in April 2019.

Dr. Christian Knebel

Managing Director

Beside Cloudical, Dr. Christian Knebel is the managing director of publicplan GmbH, whose focus is on the implementation of complex e-government processes using open source solutions. Dr. Knebel, who holds a doctorate in economics, is responsible for strategic corporate development and, together with his staff, has driven the development of the deGov, GovBot and GovChat products at publicplan GmbH.
Dr. Christian Knebel previously worked for various IT companies and was, among other things, an authorized signatory as well as a member of the advisory board of cosinex GmbH.
